Collecting a 7 month old weaned welsh D foal tomorrow all being well. What would you feed in terms of hard feed, and quantities? Its not from the breeder.

Suregrow is good and very popular. My now 2yo has done really well on the keyflow nurture pro balancer (he was introduced gradually to it from 7 months), they suggested I used the lower feed rate as he’s a native x

My 6 month old pony is currently getting a small amount of soaked grass and lucerne nuts with a vit and min supplement, salt and oily herbs. Basically what his mum eats as that's what he's been playing with, then eating, since he was a baby.

If kept out with a herd and constant access to good quality haylage and a salt lick that should be enough.
Monitor condition and ensure regular worming.
Otherwise, I've used either Suregrow or Baileys Stud Balancer in the past mixed with a basic chaff.

my babies get a small handful of molasses free chaff in morning with Mare, foal and youngstock balancer, a bit of protexin as came with a worm burden so were a bit loose after worming, egg count zero now, out on limited grass with hay available if wanted, then evening a tiny bit of Pink mash, chaff, more balancer and some linseed to help with coat and adlib hay, coats and condition is looking so much better and both growing nicely. They have a salt lick in their shelter and absolutely love it.
