Why is it people think we *must* feed our horses these great big mixes of random feeds. 
One of the liveries saw me feeding Roo tonight, she has a small meal (about half a scoop) of happy hoof (I started feeding her just for her supplement, but now I feed a little more happy hoof as I want back shoes off this winter)
The livery said "oh I couldnt do that, thats such a small feed, I'd feel mean"
Roo doesnt NEED a feed, she isnt underweight, its a waste of money to give her a big feed like the other liveries do. And if I asked why, there answer would be "coz Id feel mean"
