Hi,

I have recently had my yearling filly vaccinated (her first one of Flu and Tet) I bought her to show in hand.

My usual Vet has been off sick so another young Vet came out and gave the Vaccination in her neck.

A few days later a lump appeared and I text the Vet to say what should I do. He was away for a few days and then replied to say hot and cold compress the lump, but by this time it was already cold and very hard!
I requested it be looked at asap and as my usual Vet was now back at work he came out and scanned the lump.
It turns out it is scar tissue and I have been advised to massage it twice daily and use Compagel cream.

I am obviously worried that she will be let with a permanent lump and I wondered if anyone has had this happen to them and whether they can offer any advice please?
