Hiya,

My 5yo came in with a lump on his face a week ago. When my sister described it to me I assumed it must be his teeth (had dentist 2 weeks ago and 2 baby molar caps still to come out and big teeth to come through) but when I saw it, realised his molars are no way near the lumpy area.

It doesn't hurt his and was fine about me pushing and prodding it. Doesn't seem to nitce it at all but a week later it's still there. It's solid and hard almost like bone and only on the one side. Considered it mayhave ben a kick or bite in the field but wouldhave expected it to be sore if this was the case.

Don't realy want another expensive vet bill right now if I don't need to so any advice much appreciated :-)

Also, how do I put the pic on the forum???

I would hazard a guess at teeth, my four year old seems to have permanent hard bony lumps which are teeth eruptions.

same with my 5yo, lump on the underside of the jaw not bothered by prodding/poking...dentist found nothing wrong with the teeth so vet x-rayed & it was an abcess, antibiotics cleared it up & the lump is slowly residing.
