More college work help needed! I am interested in talking to people who used to (or may still do) take part in hare coursing :) I am currently doing coursework on it and would be interested in peoples views on it. If you'd rather not post it on the forum, please feel free to PM :)

GinaB, you only need to hang around the Ridgeway, or agricultural land on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds and you'll find plenty to talk to! They may not hang around for long though ;)

I used to go to The Waterloo Cup every year, and even looked after a dog that ran and got through to the semi finals one year, the dog was called Tintern Abbey and was let out of the owners house when it was broken into, my OH found the dog and we rescued it (not knowing that it was a family friends dog ) He is still going, a bit wobbly on his pins but can fart for England!

Irish coursing is distinctly different to English coursing. No bagged hares for one!

I remember Tintern Abbey. A grand dog glad to hear he's still about.
