Took Q out for the first time since the Novice AF at Patchetts at the end of September.
Doing E41 & E50 training, as I don't wont to up my rider group until my youngster has had a chance to do a few prelims..
I've spent the last month working on his canter & getting him more off my leg. Well it's def been worth it. He warmed up great.
Did a lovely E41 - apart from moi doing a 20m canter circle

instead of 15m!! Judge rang bell, so I wouldn't repeat on other rein, which I would've done as convinced it was 20m

So apart from me loosing him 2 marks, we got 63.2%

Next onto E50. He finds the canter in this test hard. Medium canter to 10m circles to simple changes

However he did another great test. Mainly 7's for his trot & walk work. 6's for his left canters & then a good few 5's for his right canters where we'd stated the loose it a bit

recovered well to finish with a few 7's so v pleased with 62.9%
Very good day & lot's of polo's for Q

Oh well done, pity I didn't know you were going to be there, what does your horse like, you should have come up and said hello!! Molly was a good girl, after the disaster at Brook Farm a few weeks back all I wanted was a well behaved test. Got 64.4% for E41, only lost marks to not enough imp in canter but to be honest I was happy with that as it at least felt a lot more in control than usual and we were working on collecting it in the lesson the day before so its to be expected untill she gets stronger. Second test I rode a bit more forward, simple change wasn't perfect but she tried her heart out and I was very pleased with 66.6%.

I did look out for you but I didn't know what you or you horse looked like so had no hope really!

Well done on your scores

I was on a 16.2 Liver'ish chestnut irish boy.
I'm at NH next weekend. Where are you off to next?

I was on a grey mare, I did have a chat to someone on a chestnut when I was warming up for my second class, that wasn't you was it? Just looked on the photographers website and the photos are up on wed so you'll have to show me who you are so next time I can say hi!
Was debating on whether to do Brook Farm on the 17th but my bank balance won't let me I don't think so probably have a break for this month.
