My brother in law, loves tractors and has 14 vintage (all usable) tractors he loves doing stuff on them, also he and we have all the equipment to go with them, harrow roller topper fert spreader, etc, my question is do you think there is much of a market for him to go round people with small holdings maintaining their paddocks, I know farmers arnt interested in doing "small paddocks" hence why my Father bought all the equipment so we could be self sufficient and do all our own jobs. BiL has a full time job but he thought it would be some thing he could do a bit of at weekends, he does do it for a few people local, also where would the best place be to advertise.

Yes a very good idea, from now on it will be all go as the grass is starting to grow and the paddocks will have to be rolled and levelled after the winter.

should be kept busy

definatley a fab idea most farmers are busy during the time we need are fields done i have missed getting my fields rolled simply because everyone was using their rollers at the same time and then the next day it would rain or be too hard!!! and so they charge you a fortune and sometime access isnt
always easy for the bigger tractors as for advertising you could try some local shops or pubs or try distributing some flyers to local places once your BIL has done a fab job and not charged the earth they will spread the word and before you know it he will have taken over the world in his tractors fabulous then he can spread his wings and have people working for him all over as defo think there is a market for it . might do the same myself as we have actually just got a little old tractor to do all these things!! except i cant drive a tractor and!!
