And i was very pleased with the results.

We had never seen her before but she came out to the yard every 6 months. i am happy with how he is looking but its always good to get a professionals opinion

She looked him all over and felt his shoulders, ribs, neck etc and firstly gave him a condition score of 5 (moderate) which i was very pleased with.
Then it was time for weighing him - He walked straight onto the scales and weighed in at 241kg (he is only 12.2hh)

She said he looked spot on and she wouldnt change anything about his diet (alfa-a, micronised linseed and pink powder) unless he puts weight on and i was very pleased. he weighed 217kg on a weightape when he arrived with me 6 months ago and ive worked bloody hard to get some condition on him. I swear by the linseed and cant thank you guys enough for your information on this !

It was very interesting watching all the others be weighed and scored and i would highly reccomend it to anyone

Lastly, a gratuitous pic of my boy in his new home (see other threads of mine)

Oooo he's a cutie!

Thanks, i wasnt saying that yesterday when we were doing some in hand trotting up practice and the sheep sent my usually chilled out pony into the biggest welsh show-off ever who was rather hard to control in his white halter !

Who needs whips and plastic bags LOL, give me some sheep any day

Ooh, he's lovely! Is he for your little one?

erm well yes i originally bought him for Josh so they could grow up together, but i fell in love with him and decided to break him to drive, and now ive got some plans for him. My son is only 3 anyway so plently of time before he gets riding properly :)

However i trust harry with my son, he is very gentle with him and they are best of friends (see siggy pic)

He's very cute. :)

Interestingly about the weigh tape, when I used the tape on ted at home I would get 440kgs. When I took him to the Vet last monday they put him on scales and he weighed 411kgs.
So those tapes must be around 30kgs out. Thats not bad considering the method used.
