Yesterday I split my mini herd of four. I have 3 little paddocks currently with good grass one side of a lane and have rented a bigger paddock with not great grass and a good hedge boundary all round.
Tb as some may know suffered bad foot problems and arthritis in his knee (relevant because I can't stable or he stiffens!)
I also posted re muzzles recently but I've tried a few and they just don't really work for him.
So I put him and shitland across in the hedged paddock as he's just freaking out if I fence him away from the others and I'm worried he's going to really hurt himself on the electric tape.
He's so unhappy though! He's decided shetty is no longer his best buddy and he needs the others.
It's so tough! He's weaving at the gate and not really eating.
He used to be fine just with his pony but then I stupidly tried to keep all together and now he's hooked on the others.
How long will I have to be hard on him for?!
Would you take pity and move him closer so he can see the others- this will mean being stabled as just too much grass for him!
On the plus side he's improving a lot
