Ok so I only post reports when things don't quite go to plan

The BN at Harpury was an Equinox blue chip qualifier and there were 114 starters!!

So after walking the course and sticking my number down (69th to jump!). I then settled down for 2 hours watching others jump.

The standard was appauling - 114 starter and only 9 double clears

Yes my glib comments when watching came back to haunt me; as I didn't canter round properly at the start and the driver messed things up royally by having the first down, then jumped the rest beautifully. What a muppet.

I stayed for the start of the discovery (69 numbers on the board when I jumped in 14th to start). This time more determined and jumped very well apart from the wavy plank which he went straight through the top of knocking it off with front legs. I've been watching the video and not entirely sure that was rider error (usually is to be fair!). So I am off to build a wavy plank at home......

All I can say is that I left at 2.45pm having finished and loaded up. I don't think the discovery would have finished before 4pm (second class of the day!). So I feel for the poor people waiting to jump newcomers!!!

Well done

I saw you jump. I haven't seen him before, he has a bit of a pop in him, especially over the oxers. My poor sister came 9th in the BN and the first 8 qualified
