Harvest dust allergy?

Hi there, I'm new and now feel brave enough to make a post! My daughter's pony has been demonstrating raised breathing rate during exercise and reduced stamina for the last few days...today I noticed that her respiratory rate was a bit high at rest as well, just been to vets and blood sample indicates a mild allergic reaction. The only trigger that I can think of that is different to normal is that the field next to us was combined a couple of days before symptoms showed and it was very dusty! Has anyone else experienced some form of harvest dust allergy?

My lad can get a cough and sometimes a snotty nose from pollen in summer and dusty hay/haylage. I usually have him on naf 5 star respirator which clears it right up for him.
