Well we had a fantastic walk around Tarr Steps yesterday on Exmoor!! The very elderly Patterdale had to stay on the lead due to no recall as completely deaf!! But my other terrier scrappy was allowed off he is 13 and although only having one eye and a partially deaf he does check I am about, friend had a old collie out too who is a crock aswell, talk about taking the geriatrics out for the day!!

So he decided to throw himself int he river for a swim which was fine, but he then got out and had a good shake off and was stood too close to the bank and very ungracefully did a back flip into the water:eek:

Poor boy couldn't get up the stairs last night and this morning hes very very sorry for himself and stiff, painkillers and a hotwater bottle seem to be working, dear chap!!

Awww bless him:)

Sweep always has his magnetic collar on 24/7 - definitely helps ease any stiffness:)

Dear of Sweep!! awwww... I had 2 vets out on the walk with me, fat lot of good one was, he nearly wet himself when Scraps fell backwards into the river, I accused him of pushing him!! lol Scraps isn't stiff rest of his life, he was just being a dork and hooning around , not even on medication usually, although I do keep Metacam in for his cough!! (he has a wierd pharynx thing) don't ask!! lol XX
