Has any one done their LGV C1 Wagon Test?

Hi, as title really. Im looking into doing the LGV C1 Wagon test and wanted to know if any of you could give me some pointers really!

How much does it cost i.e. training for it, then the cost of the test (practical and theory)?

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to go in the North West (Cumbria/ Lancs)?

Generally any experiences from any of you are welcome!

You'd be better off doing your C test or Class 2 if you are old school ... it will cost the same and allow you to drive anything rigid up to 18tonnes should you wish or need to.

I did mine through the RAF but in civvie street it should cost around £1200 including test, don't forget you need to take a theory test and hazard perception, and have a medical done by your GP.

Look into some companies that offer a cheaper rate, there is a government scheme if you take extra modules and build it into an NVQ...you might not want to, but it could save you a bit.
