I'm thinking of putting my horse on NAFs veteran supplement to make sure he's getting everything he needs as he's not on any type of special feed aimed towards older horses (he gets pony nuts, speedibeet, garlic, corn oil and superflex plus ad lib haylage).
He's come out of winter carrying a little bit extra weight wise so I don't want to put him on something that's going to make him put on any more. the "your story" bit on the website goes on about how the horses were struggling to keep on weight so im slightly worried that he might balloon (obviously, i will be increasing his exercise program - he's had a few injuries which haven't helped with his weight)
has any1 used it and has it made their horses/ponies gain weight?
