I've got a saddle for sale at the minute and someone in Australia has contacted me asking if I would post it out there (from UK), I've had a look at how much it would cost and parcelmonkey, etc are quoting several hundred £££, which is nearly as much as the saddle is for sale at! Has anyone ever sold a saddle and sent it to Oz? If so who did you use and how much did it cost?

Yes, we send quite a few.
First thing is to make sure the box is sturdy, but as small as poss. We try & get them to 55x45x45cm. Weight will be approx 8kg.
Take to post office & request Global Priority - should be around £130 with insurance. You will struggle to get it much cheaper, but it is easy to pay loads more.
Hope this helps.

you can also try shipping companies, takes a lot longer obviously. Make sure it is clean and include a letter saying you have disinfected it and what with. They tend to get a bit uptight and throw things in the incinerator if they are dirty!!!

Thank you longdog I will try global priority. Am rather scared by the thought of my saddle getting burnt mutley75...
