Has anyone been a supporting artist n a horse

Following a conversation at work where a friend is an extra (very annoying half way through Dr Who when you see his face, and are reminded it's not real!). Has anyone been an extra on a Horse, and if so how did you get to do it? Anyone used their own horse - I'm sure mine would like to put his film star good looks to some use.

I was actually thinking the same thing, because our baby horse is gorgeous, very baroque.

I think you sign up with an extras agency, I did with my friend to see and they ask if you have horses, what they look like and what you can do. Maybe try that?
