has anyone been to vicarage farm?

hi,
just wondering if anyone has been to Vicarage Farm , sunbury on thames, recently to use /compete over there cross country course??
only asking as we have our BRC eventing championships there soon and was wondering what is like? /the ground /fences/ if there is a water complex and what its like? as well as in general?
no one i know has been there before so just wondering..
i cant get hold of any1 there to ask about it!

not for a little while but the showjumping was certainly ok, its peter gillespies place or it was and he is very senior bsja person so usually does good job. only had one small arean on surface last time i was there probably a warm up but the grass used to hold up pretty good considering its practically in the thames. am sure some one has been there more recently than me tho.

Still is PG, not been there since the summer BSJA, XC not been updated for few years fairly basic round edge of fields, he looks after the SJ really well, not sure about the XC as took Safs mum Treasure there last about 10 yrs ago

It's a brand new cross country course. The showjumping arenas are all grass and the going is usually top class as Peter really looks after the rings. He builds excellent courses so you should have a good time there.

just a bit concerned as my mare can be funny at the water!! (fine with puddles, rivers, streams but one xc water complex the brakes come on!!)

looking forward to it more now!
