Has anyone claimed under public liability insurance for dental treatment?

Whilst walking my horse out he spooked at something, reared and came down on my mouth resulting in two lost front teeth. Need 2 implants at £1,800 each !!. Now i know i could claim if he recked a car or fencing or property just wondered if anyone had experience with teeth ?

horses vets fees are insured wth nfu but public liability with BHS.

Isn't public liability for damage to third parties? I would have thought this would fall under medical or dental.

^^^ That's what I thought - so they'd payout if he'd landed on someone else's teeth but not yours.

Public liability is for third parties, but if you are a BHS gold member you should have personal accident cover as well.

BHS Gold Cover covers for death, loss of sight or limb(s) and/or permanent total disability. Not teeth.
