Has anyone done a canine nutrition course?

I wonder if anyone could recommend an introductory level canine nutrition qualification.

I am looking at maybe doing one in connection with a fledgling business I am developing. I am just starting to research courses and qualifications and would be interested to hear any experiences/recommendations, especially distance learning or something in the Essex area.

On another forum a while ago there was someone who wanted to do one BUT found they were all funded and influenced by existing food companies (Hills, Burns etc)

I did one years ago - it was funded by a food company and all it was was which of their products to sell.
Useful as a guide to what the vets were flogging but as for nutrition a waste of time.

Hmm, interesting replies. Thank you. I hadn't thought that they might be sponsored by dog food companies. These are a couple I have found by Googling - I know nothing about the colleges and I can't find anything that links them to food companies.

I wonder if anyone has studied with these colleges? (Maybe equine courses, if not canine ones!)
