Has anyone done the manifold valley ride with sport endurance??

5.5 hours of hell with very very naughty pony, plus some *******s removed and put up false markers getting lots of people lost, plus ignorant group kept passing me leaving me in trouble, the terrain is challenging enough without those sort of problems on top:( veiws are excellent and ride is good with a fit sensible beast, le tme know how your "monster" fares with it all ;)

Arh yes..I remember you telling me now..I only ask because a lady I know wants to go..she's never done endurance before..so Im kidnapping my "monster" and tagging along. Didnt know how "challengeing" it was..dont want to put the lady off.

I will keep you posted on how it goes..its not till June.

it has a LOT of VERY steep climbs both up and down hill on a mix of scree and very very old glass like tarmac. Some nice canters. I did a 20 mile pleasure totally on my own, only met a few riders at the very start. The views however are stunning. I did it a few years ago and pony struggled and we have done hard rides like Ludlow Solistice and this is comparable. however we did little hill work to prepare (was in brum) but I think if you are based somewhere like I am now (edge of the peaks/pennines ) which is similiar going it wouldnt be too bad.
