I thought I would share some pictures from being out in the sunshine yesterday on the stubble fields.

My exracehorse Kings, could not cope with this! His teeny tiny brain almost fell out and there was much tomfoolery and antics that required me holding on to the neckstrap! He jusssssssssssssst about kept the lid on it though, just haha!

Almost loosing it!

Troublemaker!

Hes so athletic and gorgeous the wonderful monkey <3

This is about as settled as he got!

So I quit whilst I was ahead (and still on board!) and went and got Grottttie Dottie who knows allllllllllll about the stubble!

Shes looking like a mini tank here!

Keen bean

Shes so teeny weeny

So that's my ponies and I having fun on the stubble. Has anyone else been having any stubble based funtimes? Got any pictures?

I feel bad that Belle (Dotties 5yo sister) missed out so here's a few pics of me schooling her, she is starting to feel a bit like a grown up!!!

Thanks for reading :)

what an utter stunner kings is! you look so much more comfortable on "grotty dotty" though, some cracking action shots, i love the ones of you going full pelt on dotty! the field around here are nowhere near ready to be cut yet, weve had nothing but rain here but i dont really feel comfortable riding on stubble fields anyway, im paranoid about falling off and being impaled lol

I bred Dotsie so I know her inside out. I have only had Kings for 6 weeks of racehorse reschooling. He is coming along sweetly in the school, despite the stubble being a bit exciting!! Here are 2 pics of more matchy with how he's coming along in the school

It's just what they are for! I have had my fingers crossed for rain and when we got it I was super excited!!

Thanks :)

Beautiful, matchy photos ... all stunning horses .. but the appy gets my vote
Ahh she's not an Appy!! She's a knabstrupper!!

I know, this year is going so quickly!

me too, the pink is fab!!!! and your appy is amazing. xx
Pink is my fave, although she's a knabstrupper ;)

She is really coming along well at the moment. She has been very sharp to back and get going, now she's levelling out and being less of a drama llama!!!

*stamps feet * I want stubble fields :(

Sadly none round here tho.

OP, looks like great fun :cool3:
Oh I'm sad for you :(

What beautiful horses you have! I can't wait for our stubble fields to get cut! You've inspired me to get some pics as a memento of our first time!! :)
Yeah you should!! My bf wasn't overly pleased but even he thinks the pics are awesome. Hopefully Belle can go out there this week :)

Haha, no. It was cloudy when I first got on Kings so I had my jumper on but I was boiling from holding the neck strap and from the sun coming out so I took it off when I swapped ponies!!

Yes I thought that too!

Gorgeous, gorgeous pictures with beautiful horses and beautiful riding :) thank you!
Thank you for your kind words :) sorry to disappoint you with my lack of matchy dedication ;)

The knabstrupper looks like great fun! I do love the two bays though - they just look stunning (and the Eskadron big square on Kings... I might need that...). Dark bays are my favourite and I'll be looking out for any future threads you start with pictures :) :) The mare looks really kind.
