Following on from the OH for sale/ loan post I was wondering if anyone has any tips/ training methods for getting OH to accept HHO obsession?
Mine has accepted the horse, shetland, 4 dogs and even brought me new stables but apparently its rude to spend all evening online & distracting tapping when people are trying to watch tv?!! Last night I agreed to put the laptop in the kitchen and went but kept having to nip in and out to see what was going on not so subtly apparently...

Just wondered if anyone else has had these issues...?

Lol, just had The Discussion with hubby

.

We work on the basis that if hubby wants to watch telly, then I can sit with him and play on here. If he were to want to sit quietly without the telly on, then I'd turn this off

Hehe No BUT I did lose my job because of it - my HHO obsession gave me RSI hence had to give up the day job. Stop laughing this is/was deadly serious.

No, but my ex was deeply jealous of me going on here - he thought I was on here talking to men.

He called me sad for talking to my 'pretend friends' eeerrrr nice chap NOT

Hense the 'ex' bit

How on earth can you have a forum on Level 42?! Is there really that much to discuss on a daily basis? Sadly, I remember them from the eighties, so it must be full of forty-somethings!

My OH does think it amazing that HHO can entertain me for hours, but it gives me something to do when he's watching sport on the telly.

tbh, I'd be annoyed if someone was sitting on the laptop tapping etc. whilst watching tv.
And i't s a bit worrying if you can't leave the computer in the kitchen, I'm only on here a lot during term time as at uni I get bored, at home I have so many other interesting things to do!

So sorry to hear that

. It's not a good time whoever does the deed. However, take comfort in HHO - I know my posting has increased dramatically in the last few months!! Only used to browse - now have the confidence to SAY something (not that anyone listens to it!!!!!!!!!

She needs some herself, as she is feeling a bit poorly ATM!

Thanks for that! I knew enough was enough when he started not to complain about me being with or talking about horses all the time! He just no longer cared! Now I intend to get myself another Ned and start enjoying life again! Which includes much more time on HHO!
