Not seen them in RL, but have seen them advertised! Most horse owners nightmare I should think - esp. those that own horses with sweet itch or the like.

Have seen them in RL at Stoneleigh Equine Event a while back. They're like pointy rubber matting but go on the wall. The points aren't sharp. I guess they're a bit of a novelty, who wants a horse with a matted tail and rubbed hair on their bum??

they are available from robinsons as well.
And i will personaly shoot anyone who puts one anywhere near my field or my sweet itch pony.

I think they're great and have often thought about buying some for my sweet itch cobbie. What a great scratch he could have without the damage...

Well...actually.......I bought some from Robinsons a few years ago. brilliant. They can rub and not harm themselves.

I looked at them, but still won't give my horse anything to rub on, as he cannot stop himself (sweet itch)

Still have my house keeping to do to duct tape his stable to make sure he cannot get any splinters when he rubs

However I did but him a new JML brush (in Asda), which is very similar to the Oyster curry comb and he loves it.
