We discover a mouse in house with the dog food.Felt quite sorry for it as it had a bed and adlib food on hand, must have thought it was xmas come early.OH caught it an put it outside at bottom of garden.Couldn't see any more than one but wheres theres one the relatives aren't far away!!!
Anyways went to local B & Q got one of those sonic things! Got home plugged it in!
Guess what was there next morning a mouse. It actually was sitting right below sonic thingy and tried to sniff OH hand!!It didn't seem bothered in any shape or form!!
So do they work???!!

We use one, the furry things still get in but dont stay too long. They also send vibrations round the pipes and cables so the little visitors shouldnt nibble them

Apparently you need one of the ones that plugs in and emits a really irritating high-pitched noise - the expensive ones (about £60) but not the ones where it travels via the wires.
If I can find the link I will PM you - my feed merchant uses them and swears they dont have a single nibbled bag of feed.

my friend had several as she had a lot of mice, they didn't make the slighest bit of difference, The terrier pup she got did though

Cat's work, B says where there's mice you won't have rat's unless there called Dod

When we bought our shop, a feed merchants, there was no vermin control, bags would get nibbled while you were there and we would see mice and rats (and fleas but that's another story!).

We worked pretty hard to get rid of all vermin, but the plug in high pitch repeller has been fab. Think we got it in March, haven't had a single nibble since then. Think I bought it new from ebay, about £30.

We use one in our feed room to deter the rats. Seems to work- they've taken up residence in the muck trailer now! Does your dog mind the sonic thingy's noise or is it out of their hearing range too?
