General discussion at my yard is always what 'breeding' is my cob? Last owner and me and many others have decided he is Clydesdale crossed with 'something' but what is the something?? Vet thinks it's Warm Blood, saddler thinks Thoroughbred, so, if any of you have a cross like this can you post some pics so I can have a look and compare?? He has long legs for a cob and they are not 'thick' but well defined, he has plenty of bone, but big cob feet! and doesn't really grow feathers either, only a bit at the backs of his legs, he gets the long hairy face and 'knickers' that heavy horses have if I don't trim him up regularly!

May help conclude the discussion once and for all!!

Thanks!!

p.s. my sig prob doesn't help as he looks like a completely different horse in each picture!!

How big is your boy? My friend has a shire x TB that looks a similar stamp to your lad - he is a bay & about 17:2. He has the same white up the inside of the hind legs - which I know is typical of Clydesdale but Shires can also have it I think? He has pretty big feet also but does get some feather, unlike yours. No piccies I'm afraid because he's not mine. But anyway I would say that yours could easily be heavy horse x TB.
