I've taken a liking to this breed and am thinking of buying one in the near future. Any good or bad comments about the breed? And pics are very welcome :)
 
I have two pomeranians and I absolutely adore them! Got them when I moved from home to an apartment and couldnt take my springers with me. I have two bitches- they are half sisters , nealry 3 yearsd old and they are the most loveable creatures with gigantic personalities! I dont baby them in anyway- they have been coming with me to the horses since they were tiny pups and as a result are pretty hardy dogs for their size. They adore everyone they meet and are really very active- they love big walks, will swim in the local river etc- is it becoming obvious how smitten I am with my dogs? :-p

If i knew how to paste photos I would- they are such gorgeous dogs even if i do say so myself!

oh and as for ankle biting and yapping- mine will bark if someone comes to the door but apart from that are very quiet and they have never bitten anyone although will attempt to lick you to death if they get half a chance!

I have had so many people say "oh i dont like small dogs" then meet my two and completely fall in love. You should definitely get one you wont regret it!
 
I have 2 german spitz kleins which are very similar.

They are the BEST!! They do think they are Rottie sized and rule the world, but have never bitten anything and can be a little bit yappy, but not too bad... :p

I love them!!
 
I have two german spitz mittel who are, as Laura1812 says, very similar.

Like ellliefiz I think it's worth bringing them up as normal dogs, with socialising, walks, training, etc and not in a handbag! Mine do yap (one of them quite a lot) but have never bitten anyone!
 
Haha... are you back spetting there CC? Scared we might club together and set them on you? If mine jump they could reach your knees....
