A previous horse I had had 4 lots of tildren with no side effects or problems what so ever

I’ve used it on a couple of horses but not recently.

They both peed for England afterwards and one was mildly colicky.

Nothing that would stop me using it again in the right circumstances

Thank you - how did the mild colic present itself? Did you have the vet to medicate the horse at that point?

One of work's horses had a couple of rounds of Tilden. Good results the second time, was sound for a few years after on full work.

The vet said it could bring colic on, from memory it was drip fed, the vet set the drip to do it 4X slower than recommended and said that way he hadn't had any issue with colic.

Would like to use it but nervous about colic side effects and renal failure etc....
Our pony had tildren treatment twice, first time with no problems, second time mild colic (=constipation) that was quickly cleared. Symptoms in the morning about 1½ week after the treatment, vet out, acted like herself the next day. I wouldn't worry about it, but pay attention and call the vet if you see anything, no point in wait and see
