Would like to use it but nervous about colic side effects and renal failure etc....

Thank you - how did the mild colic present itself? Did you have the vet to medicate the horse at that point?I’ve used it on a couple of horses but not recently.
They both peed for England afterwards and one was mildly colicky.
Nothing that would stop me using it again in the right circumstances

Our pony had tildren treatment twice, first time with no problems, second time mild colic (=constipation) that was quickly cleared. Symptoms in the morning about 1½ week after the treatment, vet out, acted like herself the next day. I wouldn't worry about it, but pay attention and call the vet if you see anything, no point in wait and seeWould like to use it but nervous about colic side effects and renal failure etc....
