Ive been using wood pellets for a while now
I never used to have any issues, but the last two pallets Ive ordered, the bottom bags have been broken (the weight of the others pushing them through the gaps in the pallet) So Ive lost maybe 9 or 10 bags over the last two pallet loads. I did write to the company and they did replace the first ones for me.
But now Im loathed to order from there again. Has anyone else had this?

Where do you get your wood Pellets from?

I used Aquamax, prompt delivery and never had any issues with split bags. Mind you, have just changed to straw pellet bedding - £50 a load cheaper and seems to be more absorbent than wood pellets!

Hi Pinkatac

Where do you order straw pellets from please?

I am on wood pellets and think they are good, but you say that the straw ones are better?

Hi Teagan, I ordered mine from http://www.strawpelletsltd.co.uk/Animal-bedding.html - I pay £240 for 500kg of wood pellets compared to £190 for straw pellets. So far have been impressed, one of mine is the wettest horse ever and they are doing well!

They sound a great idea - but i think the price of woodpellets from www.liverpoolwoodpellets.co.uk is a better deal.... or am i being a little dippy? http://www.liverpoolwoodpellets.co....ts-in-small-bags-inc-VAT-COLLECTED-PRICE.html

You are right, they are cheaper shandy133! I've found the absorbency better with the straw ones though, and apparently they rot down quicker - a big factor in keeping him indoors happy as I have my beasties at home :)
