Has anyone here lost everything through a divorce bit managed to keep your horse?

I lost a LOT in my divorce but not the horses. They did have to be balanced out though in the financial settlement! I lost my house...it was mine for years before I met my first husband and he lived in it for four years and basically took it! I was skint but I had my babies!
I now have a fantastic new husband and we have had two babies...foals!!!! I am still skint but I still have my horses!!!

Lost my TeasMaid, stupid solicitor said "let him take anything he wants" damn sexist pesky fool, also paid for most of the divorce proceedings, but kept the horse on his farm for a few months before I got rid of both.
