Mine dont seem to mind the wind, went hacking when it dropped down earler, just a plod round the feild as out scool is water locked from the rain, its like swimming, not riding!!
no. Horse too spooky in this weather and I am pregnant so didnt want to take chances not even in the school. I tried to lunge but that was not a good idea, got pulled around arena and there was bucking and spooking all around ... I think winds calming down for the weekend (lets hope) -
Yes, we had a jumping lesson in gale force winds! we had to use drums as the wings wouldn't stay up, for all i whinge about william, he isn't fazed by weather
I'm currently on a high after having had a lesson tonight - thought we would have to cancel due to the wind - i nearly got blown off when i got on board & at times couldn't hear my instructor - but Brooklyn turned out to be a STAR and took no notice of the conditions at all. What a fab lad and only 5yo!
