If so (because the site is complete gobbeldygook to me)
how much did you end up paying Ebay? And at what times, all this insertion fee, final value fee etc is doing my brain no good!!
Thanks in advance

Yes I've sold my last 2 on E Bay, but can't remember all the ins & outs, so not much help. I *think* that we sold the last one for around £2,750 & I *think* all the fees added up to around £50 to £70.

My tip would be not to put too high a reserve because it puts people off bidding. Both mine went on with none at all. (NB if you put on your ad that it's advertised elsewhere, so you reserve the right to withdraw it, e bay will kindly remove your ad without warning, which the a**eholes have just done to my 2 saddle ads.)

Well I've just had a complete nightmare selling a car on Ebay so be careful. Please encourage ppl to view before bidding as they can refuse to buy it when they turn up even if the slightest thing has been missed off the ad. Be prepared for timewasters etc. Personally I wouldn't use Ebay for large items like cars/lorries again. Use your local admag, paper, tack shop etc.

I bought one off ebay and had nothing but trouble.

But I sold my car on ebay, someone flew all the way from Ireland to pick it up and it was the perfect sale. Sold it for about 2.5k and ebay took about £50.

Anything up to £599.99 they take a total of £19.92. Then after that they take 1.75% of the remaining value.

my friend sold her box recently on ebay (where she had bought it from a few years ago!) she started the bidding at 1p and set it running for 10days, within a couple of days - she had people emailing her offers and offering to buy it now. a local couple asked to come and view it, she agreed and they made her an offer on it. she accepted - they collected the next day and paid, and my friend just cancelled the listing on ebay - hence didnt pay final value fees etc. PLUS - she actually made money on the box!
