I used it for 6 months on my 19 yo tb and I can honestly say it made no difference that I noticed. I was told by a couple of people that the only one that really worked was Cortaflex but it was £50 for the same size as the Superflex!

I use it currently on one of mine and I cant recommend it highly enough.
My boy was diagnosed with low ringbone in april 06. He had an injection into his coronary band and I kept my fingers crossed. Well he did come sound, initially in straight lines then on big circles etc. I didn't over do it with him and my vet said he would last longer if I didn't jump him. So I didn't and we stuck to hacking (not either of our strong points) and the very occasional schooling session.
In October he went lame again with the same problem

he had another injection but this time didn't come sound even on straight lines after 4 weeks. Asked the vet if there was anything else that sould be done and he said the only thing left would be bute. Well I did that for a couple of weeks but he was on too higher dose to keep him sound for my liking so after a few recommendations I tried him on 5* superflex. He was off all bute within 3 weeks and is now completely sound in straight lines and circles

So you could say I am over the moon with it. He now had a new lease of life and we both have our fingers and hooves crossed.

i had my sport horse with upward fixation of the petella on cortaflex and it helped him loads i tried superflex cause it was on offer 2for 1, and felt like it was a waist of money, didnt even use the second tub just put him back on cortaflex.

I'm using Cortaflx liquid imported from the USA which I know people say is inferior to Cortaflex you buy here, but even with postage it's half the price, so cheaper than Superflex, and definitely seems to be more effective than Superflex going by the results I have seen with my mare.

I get it from Equiteric on eBay.

I tried Cortaflex on my mare (problem stifles) - no difference at all and gave the remains of the tub away. Put her on Superflex and she was like a new horse within a week. I think it will be a matter of trying probably the cheapest first and seeing if it makes any difference.

Hi, I have had my horse on the superflex 5* and she has been on it since September and she didn`t really need it but I read somewhere that show jumpers put their horses on some sort of joint stuff at around the age of 10, but to be honest I am not buying anymore as I don`t think that she needs it at the moment as it hasn`t made any difference and so I think that until she shows signs of needing something like this, I am not going to give her anything. I said that all in one breath!!!!

I tried it as there was so many people on here saying that it was very good. But it is the superflex 5* and this is supposed to be better than the original superflex. Oil is supposed to be very good fed with a supplement of vits and mins.

Sorry if I`ve not been of much help.
