Has anyone tried these boots?...

My horse can't seem to walk without taking chunks out of his legs,he is scarred to smithereens (sp?) and its likely down to his poor conformation so not a huge amount I can do about it. His latest scar is due to an overreach. I currently ride him in brushing/knee boots but saw these and wondered what they would be like.
I'm concerned that he'll trip himself up as the over reach part is attached to the rest of the boot.

What do you guys reckon? Sports Combo boots

Have you tried just normal rubber over reach boots? The rubber usually tears off if they stand on it but seems to protect the foot.

Those were what I was going to try for that reason but I liked the look of these and wondered if anyone had any experience of them but have visions of ending up on our noses if he treads on them.

You could try using pastern wraps combined with regular brushing boots and over reach which would be less likely to cause trips
