has anyone used an equine agent in europe?

I went with a friend a good few years ago to buy a dressage horse. Great trip, totally painless buying experience and lovely horse who went on to do extremely well.

Cannot remember who agent was though :o it was about 10 years ago now.
 
my dad bought his horse though an agent but he didnt ride him before he sign the cheque :rolleyes:

I've told him that I won't buy without trying them first so we were thinking of going over for a few days and making a wee holiday of it as mum isn't very horsey and she'll probably get sick of seeing horses after a few hours :o

your post makes me feel a lot better about buying from abroad so thanks :)
 
Yes, and there is also a user on here who is an agent in Germany, she is a friend of a friend and does pick good horses.
