has anyone used hoofmove from brighton?

i'm looking for someone to transport my new pony over and dont really know of anyone. i need soemone either from this end (brighton) or the other end (winchester or possible beaulieu, new forest). can anyone recommend pls?

from the mileage, it looks like about £200. does this sound right?

I've just used Sarah at Equine Express www.equineexpress.co.uk. Thought the whole process was painless, professional and very smooth. She charged less than you are quoting to move a horse from Basingstoke to nr Lewes. She was recommended to me and I have no hesitation in passing the recomendation on.

I didn't even need to be there for the collection part - I just waited at the yard like a very anxious new mum!

I've used Hampshire Horse Taxi - lovely bright yellow van haha but Anne and Dusty are great and very professional.

eta: Anne even read my dressage test once!

It's worth trying www.appletreeshorsetransport.co.uk they are based near Horsham and I have used him in the past and he is great with the horses (and owners) Be interested to know how he compares price wise as he was always much cheaper than the others.
