Has anyone used 'The Bit Shop'?

Was wondering if anyone had had any joy using (or trying to) The Bit Shop, where you can hire bits for a month then decide if to keep them or return them?

I emailed them with details of my mare's schooling 'issues' and asked which direction I should take........cue 3 week wait for a reply, only for the reply to meant have been sent to someone completely different........I pointed this out and asked the question again, that I was after a Neue Schule, dressage legal bit......shocked to receive a reply within a few hours, with the model of bit I could use & why. Hurrah! I replied with a question which would have resulted in me atleast hiring said bit........nearly a week later and STILL waiting for the reply!!!

Am I the only person to experience this, or could anyone recommend someone else please???
 
Hi there, Yes I have used them recently and also had some very slow replies to emails but on their last email they asked that I call them to talk about bits/problems. They have delivered a great service until now so maybe just call them rather than email is the answer.
 
I have used them a few times before and never had a problem, I have never needed to contact them though so can't comment on that, I just go on the site and order the bit i want.
 
I used the Bit Bank and they were very helpful. Although I must say they didn't reply to my email so I phoned them. Now proud owner of a Neue Schule Team Up bit!
