Anywho, my friend on the yard is going to end up with Carpal Tunnel if I keep asking her to plait m'ned for me aswell as her own . Its not that I dont know how to do it, but I cannot for the life of me get it tight enough. And I keep trying!

I used to use something very similar (but bigger) to get my hair into a bun for work and showing. I loved it and it made a very neat bun - just wish I could find one now as mine broke.

I hate plaiting too - that's why I have a native pony and a hogged cob!

Seen demos at the licolnshire show, looks ok, but I ,personally., do not think they have quite the same look as hand done.

Would be good for local fun shows and hunting, but to me, just do not look quite the same

Great for my hair I use them a lot, I am too much of a traditionalist for anything but proper plaits for horses - with thread. I am a very sad person and actually LOVE plaiting.

If I was judging in any class where turnout was taken into consideration and saw those I'd mark them down.

Suck it and see though, you can but try, and if it works for what you want then that's brilliant.

The trouble I have is getting the plaits tight enough - is it easier with these?? I'd love doing it if i could get the flipping things tight enough
