Has anyone used this transporter?

Hi, as some of you may know last year we rescued a french percheron who was due to be exported live from france to italy for slaughter.
We are currently finalising the arrangements for his foster home in Oxford and they are considering using a transport company called 'Boothroyden' who are based in Manchester.

Does anyone know the company or used them? It would be reassuring to have a reccomendation.

Hi Yes I used Boothroydens 2 years ago when I purchased my mare. She was brought from Blackpool to Newtown Powys(where we collected her with our trailer) and they were brilliant. We dealt with Peter and he was ever so helpful and was happy to bring all her tack and rugs down for us as well. Sally arrived in a cool calm state despite the last piece of road being rather twisty & he reloaded her in our trailer for us. The person who I purchased Sally from had dealt with them perviously & recommended them to us. Hope you find them as helpful as we did.

Yes, Boothroyden are based quite near me and they are a reputable company

Hi, thanks for the replies, they have been a great help and reassurance.

Dieseldog, i have posted today an update about where he was going. Wasnt going to at first just in case i rattled any cages but thought no-some people may be interested.
So ive just posted tonight.
