My horse saw the physio on friday and after she did quite a bit of work on him (hes not using his off side properly). She said give him two days off, then straight line work for a week.
She also told me to put my magnet rug on him at night.
I did this and he wore it for two nights, both nights his box was a right mess come the morning and he had pooed everywhere instead of all in one place like normal. Last night i got him in and put it on and he instantly rolled and trashed his bed. I decided to take it off and put a normal rug on and this morning all his bed is completely tidy and poo all in one heap like it used to be.
I have had magnets work on me before and i think they are a great thing to use but i do wonder if he is having an adverse (SP) reaction to them!
I will stop using it and just equissage him every day instead, along with all his stretching excercises.
What do you all think? Could it be a possibility?

I did buy some N.E.W magnetic boots for Bailey, the instructions said to build up the time that they go on for gradually starting at half an hour, I suppose if you put the rug on for the first time and left overnight this could have been a bit of a shock to the system? Although I'm not completely up on all the science. I've used the boots on a few horses since but built up the time over a few days before leaving them on for turn out ect and not had any adverse effects
