Hi. I own a 14.2hh gelding. he is a welsh cob. He won't ride alone. When I try and ride him alone he won't go. I can kick him on as much as I like and he starts to back up and then bucks. I try and lead him and he starts calling for the other horses, trots sideways, barges me to the side. He goes into a huge panic. We do not have a barn at my stables so we have open stables. When he is the only one in the yard in his stable he starts to kick the door. He kicks it so hard that you can see the door coming off it's hinges. He is ok in the field on his own for some reason. He calls once and then goes to eat grass. The field is not a
problem at all. He is 14 years old. Is this separation anxiety and how can I get him to go out riding on his own and be on the stable without seeing another horse? Lol. Thanks
