I missed what happened last week and didnt realise he had been banned.
 
Ester, did it turn nasty or has he just been banned indefinitely? Because a few people have returned despite very bad behaviour!
Or did the originator of the 'other' thread perhaps press the button?

IIRC Daphi had a bruised sole, she must have got something stuck in it, she had a period of box rest and he is bringing her back to work slowly, walking her in hand.
 
ah, didn't know that other people had returned and that banned didn't mean banned that was my assumption. It was done quite blantently too.

poss to do with the other thread.
 
why do i always miss these controversial posts? hmmm? i always find out once they've been deleted, or are 85 pages long and everyone else has moved on...

I know a few people return after being banned, especially in SB and seem to get away with it. JR's new post actually apologised which is more than most people do. I hop it's not to do with those slanderous things which were said about him a few days ago, it's not really for us to judge. Although maybe HHO thought the risk sufficient to ban him indefinitely.

I missed the whole commotion when he was first banned though, anyone care to enlighten us as to what went on?
 
there was a very long thread and i cant remember the topic but i watched it with some pop corn

i think people thought he was a troll and that daphi wasnt real and he felt he had to post a video of a tour of his home and stable and he was asking for advice if i remember rightly and there were lots of comments that he should be at a livery for help etc. but the post turnt quite nasty and he got very very rude and offensive to people offering advice and using particularly offensive words but there were a couple of users that were just as bad back turning it into a slaging match. if people ignored his childish behaviour it wouldnt have esculated like it did. thats as much as i remember.

No Buffay, that was his 1st post.

His banning post was about Daphi going lame. People told him to ring the vet the next day but he called them that night and vet ended coming out at 4am or something.
He then posted that he was justified in ringing that night and what did people on here know etc etc.

Somehow or other, it descended into him throwing insults at some people and getting quite nasty.

He was then banned

There was a post this weekend that was pretty slanderous that has been deleted. It was all a bit bizarre really

Well i suppose he can't be blamed for ringing the vet late at night, i'm sure he's not the first n won't be the last. It's better than all the other people who refuse to call the vet when their horses leg is hanging off and just stick a plaster over it and see how it goes for a week before their horse dies of infection... *and breathe* lol

It sounds as if he didn't take the blunt comments which can come about very well, but if he was offensive then that's fair enough, it's the rules not to be.

Don't know why i felt the need to write all that... but yeah it is all very strange, seems to be blown out of proportion from where i'm sat...?
 
On the lameness thread, he was quite hideous to Bugaboo and Rara, who, while she is fit enough to stand up for herself, is one of our younger members and did not deserve the language directed at her.
That is why he was banned.

ETA I think he was also throwing some pretty noxious PMs about, perhaps to Lhotse?

Me too. Takes two to tango, certain members' attitude and manner were pretty apalling.

Yes, i think the comments about him being (and I quote) "A queer chav" were downright nasty. I'd like to have said it was a younger member who made this remark, but it wasnt... it was an older supposedly mature member.
 
So it was ok for him to call me a c*** and a whore then? I actually didn't get involved too much in the thread where he was banding around the obcene words. However, I did report him to admin for his offensive language, it was bang out of order. My 13 yr old neice reads HHO, that is why I, and many others reported him, and he was banned. I told him openly on the subsequent thread that I had reported him, to which he sent me a very abusive PM.

You are making yourself look rather foolish in your attempts to defend his actions. he is clearly someone who likes to wind people up, his YouTube account is clear evidence of that, and he doesn't hold back on the language there either.
