As title:

Rinsed my boy down this morning (covered in poo stains again). He was so intent in getting up the top with the rest he charged up there, then as many do decided the puddly gate way between the fields was better to go round, Unfortunately he chose to go to far over; I hear the gate vibrating and rattling, my lad falter and almost go splat. Then continue up the field then resting leg.

I walked up there followed his footprints up to gate which had a lovely semi circle wet patch 14 inches high by 9 wide on the post. When I got up to him he has a gash on his stomach and one on the front of his knee on the hind leg:rolleyes: what a dipstick.

He wont let me touch it so I will see to it in a while. Then went back to my Lami mare (his mum) and she has a cut semi circle to her head gawd knows what she has done in the night.

I think I need to add some bifocals on my shopping list

Yes!!!!!!! My already blind in one eye tb has tonight come in with a hugely swollen, puffy, weeping good eye so she is now effectively fully blind as it barely opens.

She has filled it with mud and grass - I dread to think how she got so much of it in there but what a stupid thing to do!!

(had vet out straight away all cleaned out etc but still closed so she is staying in til it opens up etc). They are idiots sometimes!!

Hope your two are both ok xxxxx
