I haven't posted for a long while as my horse has been poorly.
He was diagnosed with kissing spines and proximal ligament desmitis and had his operation on weds just gone.
I couldn't believe it when my surgeon told me I could be riding again in 3-4 months. Thought it would be much longer.
Feeling very sorry for him at the moment as we picked him up today and once he was home I could see him wincing despite the pain killers.
My question is.... has your horse had kissing spines and then surgery or do you know a horse that has? What was the result / outcome? I'm trying to stay positive but its hard when you don't know anyone else who has gone through it.
Thanks in advance xxx
