Yesterday and today, didn't stop me from riding through Derby city center to Darley Park, and past the ginormeous TV at the assembly rooms, he didn't like the noise of the racing cars as it had on motor racing on at the time, and with all the runners disruption with the twatathlons 6billion runners causing disruption and all the extra people along the river path and the mega racket on Alvaston Park from it all, but in general he was spookier yesterday and today, maybe it's the wind, as they say, "too windy for chestnuts" we were out for 4.25 hours yeyyyyyyyy

Yes mine is considerably spookier today - but to be fair, his best friend was busy avoiding capture by jumping out his field and I had confined him to barracks with the beginnings of mud fever for the last week. I relented today and (bearing in mind he is grey) - he bucked, screamed and ROLLED ....

I think I'd be spooky if I had to ride through the centre of Derby! Was pretty windy today though. Lil took objection to the tarp flapping off the side of the barn.

Maybe becuase the grass is coming through now?? Whilst I haven't ridden (although will be getting Ginny out soon if the weather continues) I have noticed the whole gang a little more cheeky, playful and bouncy than normal - a sure sign of spring ;) :D

It could be the wind, but I prefer the idea that its spring. Its been winter far too long!! :p

Things in the distance seemed to be quite a big thing, having to stop an stare at things way off, with head up eyes on stalks, things that normally wouldn't be a big deal at all.

Mine think it's spring. Two of the geldings get very squeaky in a morning when being let out, it's always cracked me up cos one of them is 12hh and one is 17hh but they both act in the same way, bucking, squeaking and the inevitable breaking wind lol

I think something about the wind direction today or maybe something they can smell on the wind like Spring finally coming! I rode a snorting dragon today instead of a ploddy cob, napped at 5 cyclists (think he actually took offence at their multi fluorescent clothing and too tight cycling legging thingies) and was a bit on his toes on way home too. All the horses on the yard seem to be sensing something..can they smell grass growing?!
