God, 3rd thread of the night... what is wrong with me???

ANYWAY, had a fall & bonked my head so need a new hat...

My last was a 58cm C&O young rider's skull but has always felt rather tight

Now i need to order a new hat & when I measure my forehead, I get anything from 57 1/2 cm if i pull it REALLY TIGHT but normally about halfway along the 58cm thingy. Does this mean I go for a 59 or a 58?

They have a v nice 59 cm in the sale in Rideaway that I want...

I know this is bit naughty, but i bought new hat last year, my local wcf stocked the one i wanted, a champion ventair. so i went and tried it on there found the size that fitted best. i then ordered it online. i know that is bad but it was £20 cheaper and thats a lot. wouldn't do that to a small private tack shop, but wcf are big.......... the thing is, its like buying clothes, you could be a 12 in one make and a 14 in an other. best to try on.

oh well back to drawing board. if i'm right though don't think you can return hats unless there is a fault. so make sure you get right size. might be wrong on this one though.

I'd really recommend you go and try them on. I got a new hat the other day and couldn't believe how different shapes and sizes are within the same size. If that makes sense lol. They're cheaper online so i went to the tack shop, tried them on and then ordered online.

My CO young riders skull is one size bigger than I'd usually have and is still on the tight side, so it seems they make them on the small side.

Everyone has a different head shape, and it's difficult to know what will be comfy without trying it on.
