Hats.....

Anyone know what the current BS numbers are for hats - my velvet hat is 6473 and 4472 but I think it's out of date....

BSEN1384 or PAS015 -think thats right?!?

My last instructor said that even if they haven't had much use there is something inside hats made of a foam substance that shrivels and becomes brittle over the years which is why you should buy a new hat every few years.. Presumably if your hat has different numbers that means it is quite old?

I'm willing to be corrected though if someone else knows different
