Anyone have one or have any experience of them? They seem to be fairly new. Was considering an ifor HB503 and am just waiting on the weights for the Hauz trailer so I can compare. Also was thinking of a cheval liberte mare and foal trailer. Basically I need something light enought to be towed on a B licence that can take a 15hh polo pony.

Chances are that you will need to down plate the 403/401 (never heard of a 503 = typo?) because the vehicle plated GVW added to the trailer plated MAM must not total more than 3500 kg

The 3500 does not refer to the actual weight if you were thinking that

See post number 2000 of the HHO TOWING CLINIC thread = link below in my signature

Downplating an IW trailer ....
Take details from trailer
Call IW
Remove plate
Send about £50 and plate to IW
IW send you new plate
fit new plate
Need metal drill and pop rivet gun

More Kis ceed sportswagon specs = http://www.kia.co.uk/new-cars/range...on/specification/technical-specification.aspx

I need to know the GVW and the max braked towing capacity of the model you have please

I suspect its about 1940 kg GVW and 1500 towing capacity ???????????????

If it is then a 401 or 403 trailer will need down plating from its usual 1600 to 1500

At 1500 kg MAM and with an empty weight just under 800 kg you can load just over 700 kg into the trailer
