Hi,
I have some decisions to make concerning my loan horse. She is lazy in the school (sometimes won't even trot on) and is very nappy to go out hacking alone (most of the time there isn't anyone to go out with). I'm willing to school her up and improve this, however the owner doesn't really ride her much in the winter so sometimes I'm the only person riding her in the week. I only loan her once a week so in that time I actually want to enjoy riding and get something out of it. However, the yard is absolutely lovely and so friendly- the kind of yard where people who you have never even talked to before ask you how you're doing and if you're riding today!
So, I either re-advertise and see what happens, perhaps ending up on a not so nice yard with a not so nice owner, or carry on with the mare on the lovely yard, and not really get anywhere with her.
What do you all think?
