further we have 5 horses and like to learn

can't have it both ways

snitches on here have been sneaking off to HHAdmin about stuff in people's sigs

so if stuff in sigs is 'verboten' then this is blatent advertising.

There are 'pinned' rules at the top of the forum and HHAdmin have said often enough that if we advertise then our toys (the forum) could be taken away...!

you are not allowed a link to any website which sells anything of which a similar service or good (or horse) can be advertised in H&H or on the website. Admin posted about this last year and made us all remove our siggys. Plenty of members do still have discreet siggies, which many don't have a problem with, so it seems there aren't that many snitches about.

actually no I'm not a snitch
never reported anyone to Admin on any forum in my life (and as I'm old enough to have started with Newsgroups with flame wars - I never got involved in flaming either)
I leave that sort of thing to the busybodies

even if you don't have a URL it can be deemed as advertising. Someone COULD say you were advertising British horses, but then that'd be being picky wouldnt it?

and I'm not indicating where (apart of course from H&H) you'd be able to find a british bred horse to buy or loan or the tack to put on it.............

but there is a snitch on here that it does seem to bother and that person has been busy reporting people to Admin

I was merely using this thread as an opportunity to make people aware that there is a snitch around here................

anyhow, I'm sure admin have eyes of their own, so unless admin pmed someone and said "so and so snitched on you" you have no proof and will end up getting jumped on merely for saying that. I should know lol.

Before you shoot Airdale this PM was sent to me by admin after I complained when they edited my signature and not everyone elses. I do accept my link to my web site was perhaps not acceptable but felt as others had similar it would be OK.

I am sorry that you feel you are being discriminated against. This is not the case. No users are allowed to use their signatures for advertising purposes as this contravenes the forum terms and conditions. We were alerted to your signature by someone pressing the inform moderator button on one of your messages. As the forum is unmoderated we rely on forum users to alert us when other users are contravening the terms and conditions.

I was not saying people don't press the notify admin button, or even that they don't report stuff, they're allowed to you know! What i am saying is that the majority don't bother about it too much and as long as you keep it discreet (as you have done) it's okay. You are still advertising but there is no link.
I find the word 'snitch' very school-playground like, and if people cannot report things which are against T&C's for fear of being called a snitch then that's a shame.
