Told truth bout pony had injury in past 2005 but sound now tho hasn't competed in last yr or so due to lack of transport and daughter concentrating on horse.
Am I the only one that goes ga ga??!!

No, for some reason I'm always surprised when people phone about adverts, even though I know they are going to....

Why don't you write yourself a crib sheet...with all the key points you want to make...then you can prompt yourself and not turn weird (like I do

No, think that's natural to be nervous. Crib sheet a good idea initially otherwise you'll find you're lost for words and rattle on about the less important things!

Definitely a good idea Shilasdair as I do tend to start rambling!!!And as madhossy says speak about unimportant things.
Its hard as we think pony is a sweetheart and don't want to see it through rose coloured spectacles if you know what I mean.

I am always too honest and tell them all the faults first so put them off, then they go off somewhere else and get something much worse. I offered my own horse to a teenager in pony club who just wanted something for the summer, and after I had gone through all his bad points they said they had changed their minds and were going to concentrate on her AS levels instead. He's not that bad! No wonder I still have daughter's 11.2, 12.2, 13.2 and several 14.1s at home. Think I need help.

Dont worry, I was the same finding a loaner or my pony, she's a little brat, the pony, not the loaner, in reality I think I did my upmost to put the girl off, but she's taken the pony on and loves her antics, brave girl. I spouted all sorts of nightmare quips and probably repeated myself a hundred times.lol.

Yea me too.Thing is about most of them (apart from daughters 13.2 -he really didn't put a foot wrong)you can make them sound like the devil or an angel.Pony is an angel BUT is sort of 0-60 if you know what I mean so definitely not a novice pony.Ah well heres hoping get her loaned to good home.
